Yes Chef! Project Description
"Yes Chef!" is an augmented reality (AR) application designed to enhance culinary education and cooking experiences by providing interactive, step-by-step cooking instructions. The task was to develop an AR application that assists both novice and experienced cooks in mastering recipes and cooking techniques, ensuring it was user-friendly, visually appealing, and effective. The prototype involved extensive research, user-centred design, and iterative testing, culminating in a presentation and evaluation study to gather feedback on usability, effectiveness, and overall satisfaction. Supporting documentation outlined the design processes, how the prototype addressed the brief, the evaluation study, and reflections on user feedback.

My Role in the Project
Research and Brainstorming: As a key member of the "Yes Chef!" team, my initial role involved conducting thorough research to understand the potential of AR in the culinary domain. I participated in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and outline the core features and functionalities of the application.
Content Creation: I was responsible for writing all the text for the posters used in the project's presentation. This included crafting clear and concise descriptions of the application’s features, benefits, and user experience, as well as highlighting the design processes and evaluation outcomes.
Design Assistance: In addition to content creation, I assisted with the design of the posters, ensuring that the visual elements effectively complemented the written content. This collaborative effort aimed to create visually engaging and informative posters that would capture the interest of the audience and effectively communicate the essence of "Yes Chef!".
Evaluation and Feedback: Finally, I contributed to the evaluation study, gathering and analysing user feedback to assess the application's impact and identify areas for improvement. This involved coordinating with users, collecting data, and synthesising the findings into actionable insights for the project's refinement.

By combining research, content creation, design assistance, and user evaluation, my role in the "Yes Chef!" project was instrumental in bringing the AR application from concept to reality, ensuring its alignment with the design brief and enhancing the user experience.
